Established in 1996 and run under ICARE, Haldia Institute of Technology is one of West Bengal’s oldest private engineering colleges. The autonomous institution offers AICTE- and NAAC-“A” grade–approved B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, and MBA programs across 13 branches. The 37-acre enclave campus hosts advanced labs, research centers, and a distinct coastal setting. NIRF ranked it within the 201–300 band in engineering in 2024.
