Founded in 1997 as a government institute under AKTU, AITH is specialized in supporting differently-abled (Divyang) students. Located on a barrier‑free 15‑acre campus in Kanpur, the institute offers B.Tech in five branches (including CSE, ECE, IT, Chemical, Biotechnology) and diploma programs reserved for physically disabled students.
