Established in 1960 by the Nair Service Society, NSSCE is Kerala’s fourth engineering institution and a government‑aided college affiliated with APJAKTU. Situated on a sprawling 125-acre campus in Palakkad, it offers B.Tech programs in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Communication, and Computer Science, with postgraduate options in select branches. The campus includes five hostels, large sports grounds, and active student societies including astronomy, ecology, and technical clubs. NSSCE graduates achieve placement rates up to 90% in recent years, with roles in PSU, core engineering, and software sectors.
