Founded in 1961 under the Mar Athanasius College Association, MACE is one of Kerala’s oldest aided engineering colleges, located near Kothamangalam and affiliated with APJAKTU. The 62-acre campus supports around 3,050 students and offers B.Tech programs in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, and AI/Data Science, along with M.Tech, MCA, and Ph.D. programs. The college is notable for facilities such as a 50m swimming pool, sports fields, hostels, and international-standard labs. Student life is active with tech fest “Takshak” and cultural fest “Sanskriti,” along with global-level achievements via IEEE and ASME clubs. Placements are solid, especially in core and computing sectors, and alumni include leaders in industry, academia, and arts. MACE balances legacy tradition with modern tech education and strong community engagement.
