Established in 1999 under Kerala’s Directorate of Technical Education, the college is situated in the hilly terrain near Mananthavady, along the Wayanad–Kannur Road. The campus offers B.Tech programs in CSE, ECE, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering, with selective postgraduate programs. Facilities include hillside labs, hostels, sports fields, and a growing library. The college is AICTE-approved and affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
