Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani

Established in 2014 via a PPP model, IIIT Kalyani is backed by the Government of India, the Government of West Bengal, and industry partners including Coal India and Rolta. Located near Kolkata on a 50‑acre site (operating initially from a temporary Webel IT Park), it offers B.Tech programs in CSE (118 seats) and ECE (60 seats), focusing on AI, ML, blockchain, and deep learning. Granted Institute of National Importance status in 2017, IIIT Kalyani promotes an interdisciplinary and flexible curriculum overseen by a small but dynamic faculty team. The institute fosters industry engagement through internships, guest lectures, and advisory boards.
