Founded in 2017 under the PPP‑model and granted Institute of National Importance status, IIIT Bhopal is currently functioning from MANIT Bhopal’s campus while a permanent site is developed. It offers B.Tech programs in IT, CSE, and ECE, as well as M.Tech and PhD opportunities. While official placement reports indicate average packages around ₹10 LPA and placement rates near 50%, student feedback has raised concerns over hostel access, campus life, and administrative responsiveness. IIIT Bhopal remains a new entrant with evolving infrastructure and academic reputation.
