UIET, founded in 2004 as part of Kurukshetra University in Haryana, operates on a self-financed model backed by World Bank TEQIP support. It provides B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. programs in CSE, ECE, Mechanical, and Biotechnology, as well as Defense Technology and Electrical Engineering.
