Founded in 1963 under the Sri Siddaganga Education Society, SIT is a private, VTU-affiliated engineering college located ~70 km northwest of Bangalore. Accredited by NAAC and NBA, SIT offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across disciplines such as Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, and Data Science.
