Formerly B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology, KLE Tech became a university in 2012 under the Karnatak Lingayat Education Society. Located on a 64-acre campus, it offers eight undergraduate and seven postgraduate engineering programs along with doctoral programs across Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Computer Science, and Electrical branches. Accredited by NBA and affiliated with VTU, KLE Tech regularly ranks in the 150–200 band among engineering colleges nationwide and holds a Band‑A ARIIA ranking for innovation. It hosts incubation centers including VLSI/ESDM startup cell, and a technology innovation hub supporting entrepreneurship. Annual student intake exceeds 1,200. KLE Tech is a strong regional option with solid academics, research support, and innovation-driven education in North Karnataka.
