Founded in 1996 and managed by Rajkot Nagarik Sahakari Bank, VVPEC is Rajkot’s first private engineering college. AICTE-approved and GTU-affiliated, it operates on a 35-acre campus about 10 km from Rajkot city. The institute offers nine undergraduate and five postgraduate engineering programmes, including Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, IT, Computer, ECE, Biotechnology, Civil, and Nano Technology, with annual UG intake around 634 students. Facilities encompass a rich library, department-specific labs, workshops, auditorium, indoor/outdoor sports, medical services, and infrastructure for differently-abled students. Student activities include technical events, industrial visits, and cultural and alumni engagements. The Training & Placement Cell works closely with firms like Wipro, TCS, L&T Infotech, Mahindra, and Ambuja, securing placements around 80–90% typically, with packages averaging ₹4 LPA and top offers up to ₹8 LPA.
