Top 5 AKTU Colleges According To NIRF Rankings 2022 And How Are They Measured

Overview

NIRF make a curated ranking list of various engineering colleges and universities every year based on various parameters. In this article, we are going to discuss the top five APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University(AKTU) colleges based on their NIRF rankings

CollegeTpoint: In earlier days when there was no NIRF rankings system, we used to have rankings provided by popular magazines and news agencies. But they were never as exhaustive and comprehensive as NIRF and their reliability and credibility were always in question.

These magazines often use non-reliable sources of information and very few data points for preparing their rankings which always leads to improper and misleading rankings.

To tackle these issues Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) come up with a solution in the year 2015 which helps students better decide the college based on the ranking of various engineering (and other streams like medical, law, architecture etc) colleges and universities.

Since its inception in the year 2015 NIRF Rankings has become a benchmark to measure various colleges and universities of India.

Rankings are calculated based on below table:

2Research and Professional Practice1000.3
3Graduation Outcomes1000.2

There are few more colleges worth considering while taking admission in Engineering courses. One of those colleges is ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad, IMS Ghaziabad, GNIOT Greater Noida etc.
