JEE Main 2026 Session 1: NTA Confirms Answer Key Will Be Released By 4th February 2026

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 answer key challenge begins February 4 after the release of the provisional answer key & response sheet on the same day. NTA to declare results by February 12.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the timeline for the release of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 provisional answer key and the final result, offering clarity to lakhs of candidates who appeared for the exam held between January 21 and January 29.
According to the official schedule, the provisional answer key and recorded responses will be made available on February 4. Candidates will have a limited two-day window, until February 5, to review their responses and submit challenges, if any.
Objections can be raised online by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question, along with supporting documents. All challenges will be examined by subject experts, and the final answer key will be prepared after due verification.
The NTA has confirmed that the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result will be declared on or before February 12. The result will display candidates’ NTA scores (percentiles), which will be used to determine eligibility for JEE Advanced 2026 as well as admissions to NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutions.
Meanwhile, candidates planning to improve their scores should note that registration for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 (April attempt) begins on February 1. Students are advised to register early to avoid last-minute technical issues.
