JEE Advanced 2023: JEE Main 2023 is not necessary for OCI/PIO candidates

Criteria for OCI/PIO candidates for appearing in JEE Advanced 2023 have been updated. Now it is not mandatory to appear in JEE Main in order to appear for JEE Advanced
JEE Advanced 2023: Criteria for appearing in JEE Advanced 2023 for Overseas Citizen of India/ Person of Indian Origin (OCI/PIO) has been updated on JEE Advanced Website through a press release.
Now the OCI/PIO candidates are eligible to appear directly for JEE Advanced 2023 without appearing in JEE MAIN 2023.
The press release has mentioned that this measure will be applicable for year 2023 only.
All the eligible PIO/OCI candidates will be able to compete for "OPEN Category seats in General" and "General Person with Disability (PwD)" as applicable.
Eligible Female OCI/PIO candidates who qualify in JEE (Advanced) 2023
shall also be entitled to be considered for the Open Female Supernumerary seats in
GEN and GEN-PwD categories as applicable.
