JEE ADVANCED 2023: Delhi high court will hear a plea filed by students who did not appear once or twice in the year 2021 and 2022, seeking a chance to reappear for jee advanced exam 2023.
As per the present criteria, an aspirant can appear in JEE Advanced exam two times and in two consecutive years which means if a student has passed the 12th or equivalent exam in 2023 and is eligible to appear in JEE Advanced exam, he/she can give his first attempt in the year 2023 and next attempt in 2024 if eligible.
The plea filed by 67 students seeks relaxation in the above criteria for all those aspirants who did not appeared in year 2021 or 2022.
The basis for this plea is that according to students there was number of glitches observed during the examination in the year 2021 and 2022. Slow computers, questions taking too long to load, frozen screens and last-minute changes in centre locations were major glitches.
Finally, the Delhi court has agreed to hear the plea on 17th April, 2023 and make a decision on whether the relaxation should be given or not.
